Sam grew up in a musical family, surrounded by his father’s diverse record collection, from Led Zeppelin to Bob Marley and Stevie Wonder. Inspired by this early exposure, he formed his first band at 12 and played in the UK scene before going solo. Spending time writing songs in nature around his family home, he released his debut EP Be Easy in 2014.
